November 2025 Ofsted Toolkits

Own the Ofsted conversation on life skills, money and online safety — for every learner.

Fledglings gives you a mapped, youth-led journey and live evidence that joins up personal development & well-being, participation & development and Inclusion & SEND — not in silos. Inspectors no longer ask for a topic checklist: they ask how learners achieve, belong and thrive, and Fledglings turns everyday activity into that evidence trail.

On one platform, inspectors can see

Personal Development & Well-Being

Planned journeys for life skills, financial education & online safety.

Participation & Development

How learning links to safer choices, professional behaviours and readiness for work.

Inclusion & SEND

Who is reached, how it's adapted, and where quieter voices show up.

Evidence

Session journeys, reflections and reports that drop straight into inspection conversations.

You're not producing a new Ofsted folder — you're pointing to a live platform that already shows the story.

What you can put on the table
in an Ofsted conversation

Under the November 2025 toolkits, each evaluation area is graded on a five-point report card. These are the conversations behind those grades — and what Fledglings puts on screen for each one.

01

Inspector lens — Personal Development & Well-Being

"How is this actually planned and sequenced?"

They're looking for how you build life skills, money and online safety over time — not just drop-down days — and how it joins up with RSHE, careers and your wider curriculum offer.

On screen in Fledglings

A visible learner spine you can walk them through.

Open mapped journeys showing which Fledglings modules run in each year or programme, with short overviews and reflections that evidence what learners say they now know and can do around life, work and digital.

02

Inspector lens — Participation & Development

"Is this changing choices and culture?"

Here they want to see that learning is influencing choices, conduct and expectations — safer online behaviour, more responsible use of money, and the professional behaviours that show learners are ready for work or further study.

On screen in Fledglings

Live engagement and "what I'll do differently".

Show engagement and completion by cohort, plus prompts where learners answer "What will you do differently after this?" — linking sessions directly to safer online behaviour, spending decisions and behaviour at work or in class.

03

Inspector lens — Inclusion & SEND

"Who is this really working for?"

The focus is on whether SEND learners, apprentices, AP and quieter students can access this, where you've removed barriers, and how their voice feeds back into your decisions about the curriculum.

On screen in Fledglings

Every group visible — not just the loudest voices.

Filter journeys and reflections by pathway or learner group, show adapted activities for SEND and AP, and surface anonymised comments from those learners — so inclusion is visible in the data, not hidden in side notes.

Around your existing programme,
not instead of it

We overlay a youth-led life skills, money and online safety journey on top of your PSHE, RSHE, tutorials and apprenticeship provision — and turn it into live, pullable evidence.

1

Plan & map

We map Fledglings to what you already run.

In a short implementation call, we sit with your SLT, DSL or curriculum lead, sketch your current PSHE, RSHE, tutorials, apprenticeships and AP, and decide where Fledglings sits — by year group, site and pathway.

Review & evidence

Leaders see the story — and can show it to Ofsted.

Dashboards and exports let SLT, DSL and QA teams see who is engaging, what they say has changed, and how this lands for SEND, AP and quieter learners. Take that straight into self-assessment, board reports and inspection conversations.

A single, youth-led spine that joins up
inspection expectations and everyday reality

01

Inspectors

A line of sight from intent to impact.

Inspectors can follow a clear thread from mapped journeys and starting points through to engagement, reflections and change in choices around life skills, money, online safety and inclusion.

02

Leaders

Clarity and confidence across sites and cohorts.

Leaders see who is reached, where gaps sit and how this feeds SARs, SEFs, governor reports and QA — without last-minute evidence hunts or bolt-on projects that no one owns.

03

Learners

Skills, voice and belonging — not just sessions.

Young people move through a joined-up, youth-led journey of modules, communities, badges and live moments that leaves them more confident, safer online and better prepared for work and life — learners who achieve, belong and thrive.
